Red Wing Park Portrait Session - Virginia Beach Child Photographer

For several years in a row I have had the pleasure of photographing birthday portraits for this handsome guy. His mom schedules a mini session each year to commemorate his birthday. It is so much fun to be able to follow families and watch their kiddos grow up. It truly is an honor to document their history and create some awesome memories with them!

Jack has become an avid reader, so this year we decided on a book theme for part of his session. Red Wing Park was the perfect setting for this session and that ooey-gooey sunset light had my heart all a-flutter. 

This kid is so sweet - a true gentleman with a quiet, inquisitive nature and a great sense of humor. 

And did I mention handsome? Check out that awesome friendly smile!

I am so glad mom loves the way these turned out! It was a quick but fun session, which is perfect for kiddos. I never want them to dread having a photo session or view it as a chore. I keep the pace quick and upbeat so they don't get bored, and before they know it we're done. Boom. Mission accomplished. Happy kid. Happy Mom. (Which makes for a happy photographer too!)
